ELOPEMENT FAQ'S
What is an Elopement?
An elopement is when two people make the decision to go away by themselves to get married. Sometimes this is a secret so they can surprise their loved ones with the happy news on their return. Other times, elopements are for couples who don't want all the fuss and stress of planning a wedding, but are still after something a little bit more special than getting married in a registry office. An elopement is truly a beautiful and romantic way to marry the love of your life.
How much do your Elopement Packages cost?
As each Elopement Package has different locations and inclusions available, the price will vary accordingly. All the prices for each location and package are listed on our website for your perusal. Our romantic and luxurious Elopement packages start from just $4,790 and go upwards from there.
Can I change the Package?
Of course you can…if you can dream it up, we will try our best to make it happen! We have a variety of romantic options available that we can suggest, or you can tell us what you fancy.
How long before the date do we need to book?
We recommend booking as soon as you have made your decision as it will give us plenty of time to plan the perfect wedding day for you. However, we realise that advance notice isn’t always possible, so the latest booking we can take for an Elopement Package is 35 days before the wedding date. This will allow us enough time to complete and submit the legal paperwork.
How many people can attend our Elopement?
Our Elopement Packages are designed for just the two of you. But if you wish to have a handful of family and friends join you on your special day, contact us and we will see what we can do to make your dreams come true.
Can I change the date of my Elopement after it has been booked?
If you need to change the date of your Elopement, we will try our best to transfer your booking to your requested date. If we need to book new suppliers due to a scheduling conflict, you will need to pay any new booking fees incurred. You will also be responsible for any cancelation fees associated with the change of date.
If I cancel our booking what happens?
We realise that sometimes people have to cancel, so we offer partial refunds depending on the cancellation date.
If you cancel up to 12 months before your wedding date, you will receive a refund of 90% of all moneys paid/owed less the booking fee. If you cancel within 12 to 6 months before your wedding date, you will receive a refund of 60% of all moneys paid/owed less the booking fee. If you cancel within 6 months to 3 months before your wedding date, you will receive a refund of 20% of all moneys paid/owed less the booking fee. If you cancel within 3 months of your wedding date, the full amount will be payable.
When is the Final payment due?
The final payment for your Elopement Packages is due 4 weeks before the date of your wedding. If you book with us with less than 5 weeks’ notice, the total amount payable is due when you book.
How do the Interest Free Payment Plans work?
When you book your Elopement, you will need to pay a $1,500 non refundable booking fee to secure all of your suppliers. The full balance of your wedding can then be paid off weekly, fortnightly, or monthly via direct debit, or in lump sum payments.
Who pays the wedding suppliers?
We try to make the whole process of paying for your Elopement really simple. You pay Bespoke Wedding Planning the full package price either in instalments or in a lump sum 4 weeks before the date of your Wedding. We then pay all the suppliers on your behalf. Who said Wedding budgets have to be tricky!
